Believe it or not, warmer weather is on it’s way! Eventually the snow will stop falling, the rain will cease and sunshine will reign once again. When it does, we’ll be ready! You won’t have to worry about getting caught off guard with last minute preparations for early beach days, showing some long covered-up skin, or maintaining a healthy glow and physique all spring/summer long. With our preparation tips, you’ll be confident in your skin and ready to take on any summer adventure!

Exercise

This may sound repetitive and obvious but it will make a world of difference in your life. Start now while the weather is still changing so that when the full blown hot weather arrives you’ll be ready for that bathing suit. Start with some walking or jogging and maybe a few reps of ab crunches at home. Dedicate some time to REALLY get exercising and stick to it! You’ll be glad you did when the summer rolls around.

Change Up Your Skin Care Routine

This may sound silly but it’s definitely necessary. As the seasons change, so should your skin care routine. Finding products with SPF, lighter coverage, and more practicality are necessary. We don’t want to spend as much time layering the makeup, applying creams, or wondering why our skin is so dry when we could be at the beach, on a patio or out in the sunshine! Definitely find a facial cleanser that will remove all the dirt, oil, and makeup plus some. You’ll have some extra sweat and perhaps sunscreen that will need to be removed too. Beauty 360 Illuminating Facial Cleanser is perfect for daily skin care and will leave your skin soft and renewed. $4.39 on CVS.com. A moisturizing lotion with SPF is a definite necessity and some skin spritzers may be a wise investment. The last thing you want to do is let your skin dry out! Stay hydrated!

Warm Weather Essentials:

CVS Feminine Wash Sensitive Skin is… ahem, a necessity during the summer! Extra heat, sweat, and suffocating work clothing can leave your feeling less-than fresh. This gentle, non-soap cleanser is a great way to remove odor causing bacteria, leaving you fresh, confident, and relieved all day long. Get it on CVS.com

HDX Hand Sanitizer Gel from Homedepot.com will be a definite essential for summer days when you’re out all day long. Not being able to find adequate hand washing facilities can leave you apprehensive to chow down on that chili dog. No worries, use a little hand sanitizer and enjoy your experience that much more, worry-free!

Get Waxed

Don’t leave this until the last minute, rather wax your body so that you start to get used to bare skin. This will also allow your skin to absorb more moisture and color as the seasons go on. You may even tan those white legs a little faster this year. Don’t stop at the legs and underarms, include the bikini line and some while your there.

Trim or Cut Your Hair

Changing up your hairstyle can really help shed some old emotions from the previous season. Starting fresh can be quite liberating and enjoyable. Check out some great cuts and color for the summer or just trim some dead off your hair. Either way it will give you a well needed lift of spirit.

New Cute Clothes

Splurge a little and get some cute clothes. New dresses, tanks, shirts, skirts and shoes may be on the list. You don’t have to shop at expensive places but find some fresh pieces to spruce up your wardrobe a little. Even a new sunhat and sunglasses can really change your mood in an instant.

We hope that you are already preparing for the warmer weather in other ways to help your transition easily into the spring/summer months ahead. These are some of the best months to enjoy the outdoors so be sure to do so while protecting yourself from the sun. We wish you the very best!
